The applications and development for Windows Mobile is on a slow swing now-a-days, but it’s certainly far from over. A cool new app, HeadsetService, allows you to control your favorite music player with your wired Headset Button.
And the best part is, it’s only 4KB in memory, which shouldn’t give your device any headaches. It supports a plethora of products, like Windows Media Player, Audio Manager, Core Player, Nitrogen, S2P, Touch Player (Omnia i900 SMPlayer), and Touch Player (Omnia II). The app supports devices of various resolutions using WM6.1 and later. And it also features answering an incoming call, lock-device option, native code, which enables fast execution, and changeable press speed.
But a word of caution, the HTC version is still in the developmental phase, so HTC users shouldn’t install this yet.
