After a host of beta releases, Firefox 4 has finally entered Release Candidate (RC) stage. The newer improved version features faster scrolling, better responsiveness with Firefox Sync while taking the overall user experience up many notches.

The RC brings to the table support for text-reflow, which enables you to see the wrapped text while zooming in, allowing you to read a page without continuously scrolling left and right. Several UI elements too have been cut down in size, like the form input suggestions and the find-in-page bar. That helps you see more of the web page while using the on-screen keyboard. You can now copy and paste fro and to HTML form fields also, along with URL fields.

A major turn-off is the lack of support for flash. Some work still needs to be done, though. Fortunately, Mozilla has never dropped a deadline for any of its beta releases, so we can expect a quick redressal to these issues. Mozilla wants users to run the release candidate and provide feedback which can help improve the product. With support for 10 languages and character encoding override, Firefox is quickly growing into the most used browser by international users as well.
